A growing boy..

Little man has had a busy day today with visits from the eye doctor, the physio, and the speech therapist, all of whom were very pleased with Jensen. Weekly visits from the eye doctor to check the vessels he lasered have stopped growing, weekly visits from the physio to check his muscles and movements, and weekly visits from the speech therapist to check his sucking coordination. These visits will continue well into Jensen's future to ensure his progress and development stays on track.

Jensen weighed in at 1746 grams this morning. Slow but steady weight gain. Hopefully the effects from the Polyjoule will kick in shortly and he will gain more weight more rapidly. Having said that, his cheeks look a little chubby today, taking after mummy perhaps.

With the physio visit today Jensen had his first little go in a big boys' chair. He looked so cute, and he seemed to enjoy it after the initial protest at being disturbed from his comfy little bed. The plan is to pop him in the chair for a few minutes each day to help strengthen his muscles. What a little grown up boy he is becoming.
