34 weeks

So the little man happily went back onto CPAP yesterday afternoon. This morning when we arrived he was in air and saturating in the 90s (little show off). He was then lowered to a pressure of 6 and has remained happily in air for most of the day apart from when it was prong time.

His feeds have increased again today up to 7 mls two hourly and will be up to 10 mls this evening. Little scrap is starving though, but needs to gradually get back to full feeds in order to not overwhelm his little belly. A little poo was done this afternoon and hopefully will be up and running again nicely once his bowels have cleared the older stuff.

He has been upgraded to a larger dummy today, which I think is a little big, but he just loves to suck and is hungry and settles nicely with his dummy.

Nest cuddles with mummy today, as he still can't be on his tummy due to the surgery. The dressing should start to peel off in the next couple of days and then he should be good for some tummy time. Another surgeon that floats between hospitals will be following up on Jensen's surgery from here on.
